Davis, Bates, and Pavlowski came out today to bare the cold weather. Davis's class planted some turnips. Bates's class drew grids of the garden and wrote journal entries. Pavlowski's class were given a tour of the garden and helped us water and turn the compost (they were mostly looking for worms). The days have been running very smoothly and this month we will be very busy with planting. Our garden is changing everyday.

BRRRRRRRR!
It was a very cold day today. A few classes came out. Because of the cold, last night we covered our plants with sheets. You could say we "tucked them into bed". We were worried a frost would ruin our plants. The watermelons looked a little yellow but they're going to make it! Everything else made it perfectly fine.
